Uniforms

Our students are in great need of new uniforms. The old ones are worn out and need to be replaced. If you would like to donate to the uniform fund or sponsor a uniform, please contact us.

The program receives minimal funding from the Vista Unified School District.  The Vista High School Band Boosters, comprised of parents of band and pageantry students, raises more than $160,000 annually to support the program’s operations. Each year, students in the Vista High School Regimental Band and Pageantry Corps participate in an extensive schedule of marching band, color guard tournaments, and concert performances. In recent years, the group has also performed in the United Kingdom and San Francisco.

Over the past 3 years, the organization has raised over $30,000, a little less than half way to the total goal of $75,000 to order uniforms. The current uniforms were purchased by the Booster organization over 9 years ago and are thread bear and worn out. The life expectancy for the uniforms is 6 - 7 years, lasting for this long only because of tremendous efforts to maintain them by the unform crew.

The Vista Invitational Field Tournament, the biggest fund raiser for the group each year, was rained out this past November. So the need is even greater to raise funds for the program, in addition to the uniform fund.
