Parents ARE Boosters!

The Vista Regimental Band and Pageantry Corps Boosters are a California 501c3 Non Profit Corporation.  Each year, the Boosters raise over $150,000 to help support the band and pageantry program at Vista High School. Every Booster position isa volunteer position and the School District provides only very limited funding to the program. For the program to continue, in addition to fundraising, each family is asked to give a "Fair Share" contribution to the program and purchase such necessities as marching shoes, concert dress and pay the district a transportation fee.

General Booster Meetings are necessary to ensure that all parents adequately receive information in a timely fashion. We encourage all parents to attend these Booster meetings and “Stay Connected” with what’s going on with the Vista High School Regimental Band and Pageantry Corps! Checks should be made payable to "VHS Band Boosters" and deposited in the payment box on Mr. Ewell's office door in the Band Room (payments should be placed in a completed Band payment envelope). Students who wish to use Band credit to pay their donationsshould contact Karen Freeman, Boosters treasurer, to confirm their Band account credit and request that the Band donations be deducted from their account. We Need Volunteers!

We can use help from anyone. It’s a great way to meet people and to keep an eye on your kids and not looking like you’re watching! Click on the links below to send and email to express your interest. This year, the District is requiring TB testing and background checks for all volunteers who have direct contact with the students.
This District Volunteer Application form needs to be filled out and turned in to the Vista High School front office.

If you can hem a garment or like to sew, the Uniform Mangers and the Pageantry Coordinator could use your help. The equipment crew is especially in need of help for all rehearsals, football games and tournaments.  Concessions needs help at the snack bar at the Friday Night Football Games. Please let us know your talents.

Form Description
Absence/Tardy Form If your child will be absent or late to rehearsal or performances, this form must be filled out and turned in to the director.
Battery Packet Battery, or drum line information
Judging 101 Familiarize yourself with how the students are judged at competitions
Medical/Image Release Emergency information form must be completed. Also includes an image release form for photos and video taken by parent boosters at events.
Permission Slip Must be completed for students to attend competitions

Expense Approval/Reimbursement Booster committee leads will need to approve any expense prior to purchase. This form must be approved and filled out completely for reimbursement or payment.

VHS Jacket Order Form Many students wear a black jacket with VISTA embroidered on the back and their name. Orders are taken at various times throughout the year.
District Volunteer Application Fill out this form and turn it into the Vista High School office (not the band room). You will also need a TB test.

Chaperones - If you would like to volunteer or have questions about helping as a chaperones

Concessions - To volunteer to help with concessions at football games, graduation and other events.

Communications - Do we have your email address so you can receive email notifications? Is your contact information (name, address, phone number) up to date? Want to volunteer to help in this area? If so, then click on communications.

Equipment Crew - This crew is the group who make sure that all the necessary equipment is loaded on the truck and makes it to the performances for the group. This function is mainly in the fall for football games and tournaments.

Fundraising Committee - Help with fundraising events, large and small.

Treasurer - For questions about student account statements, financial questions, etc. To be reimbursed for approved expenses, fill out this form prior to purchasing the item/service Expense Approval/Check Request Form.

Uniform Committee - Responsible for checking uniforms in and out to students, making sure the uniforms are clean and in good condition. They also fit students, coordinate marching shoe purchase and clean the uniforms.

Band Director - If you have a question about your individual child's performance, use this email. For all other questions, please contact one of the other Booster parents.

Booster President - Question or concern about how you can help with the Boosters? Please use this email.

We can use whatever time you can give to the band and pageantry!
