1) Parents: Sign up to Volunteer for Concessions
We want to thank our volunteers who helped us at our second home game. Sign up for our Third Home Game against Westview. It's also Pop Warner night and is typically a well attended game.
Concessions is part of our Fundraising!

2) Back To School Night - Meet Band Boosters in Band Room!
NOTE: There will be band + guard practice at 6pm - 9:30pm.
Boosters will be supporting by having tables out at the Band Room. Come meet your Band Boosters!
We will have merchandise, Band Jackets forms, SCRIPT, and more! Marisela will be available for habla Esponal.
3) Saturday Rehearsal - 9/9/23 at 8am to 8pm
Make sure students are dressed for rehearsal (Black bottoms, white tops, sneakers, hat, sunscreen, & water)
Props Building Crew – We are planning to build props for the field show, any help would be appreciated! Meet Carlos in the student parking lot from 8-12.
4) Varsity Jackets for Band and Guard
Per Mrs. Kristina:
Varsity jackets can actually be purchased by any student, in any grade. The "V" letter is earned after 2 years in band or pageantry and can be sewn on at a later date. All jackets come with "VISTA" embroidered on the back in red; other patches and embroidery embellishments are optional.
If you're interested in ordering a jacket for the fall, the window is narrow. Mrs. Kristina will be at the school Wednesday, 9/6 at 5pm to help with jacket info.

Payments will be accepted, digitally or in person, through Sept 6th
All orders will be submitted to the embroiderer on Sept 7th

5) VIFT and T-SHIRT Contest - Save the Date 10/14
Vista High School is honored and excited to be a host school for SCSBOA’s field tournament showcase. Our band and booster program are excited to host participating schools.
Band + Guard Students create the official tournament T-Shirt. Students will submit their drawings and the winner will be announced on 9/20. We will be sending out T-Shirt contest information this week.
